old friends

I haven't taken any pictures in almost a week. Nothing has triggered me to get the camera out.

Today we had a really busy day.

We (myself and the boys) left home at 12:45 and headed to Hickory.

We stopped by the bank and deposited a check.

Next, we went to Chick-fil-A. We had a good time eating in the van. Then we shared a chocolate shake.

From there, we went to the hospital to see one of my good friends, Kaylan. She's the one that I had a pregnant picture of a few weeks ago. She had her baby boy last night!! They named him Brock and he's a cutie pie!! We spend about 30 minutes there holding baby Brock and rubbing his soft feet. Thomas and Nathaniel loved his feet. :-)

The last stop we made was to the CVCC Lab School. I worked there for 3 years before I got married. They were having a retirement party for one of the ladies there. I'm so glad I went. I seen so many old friends there. There were a few of "my kids" there, and/or their parents. Its amazing how fast children grow up. I wish I could spend more time there, but I have a job at home, and they have their jobs there, so that's not going to work...lol. I do need to "stop by" more often though. It really was nice!

Daniel is going rafting tomorrow with some of the men from church. I'll be babysitting :-)
